PT Jawa Satu Power is a Joint Venture between PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, Garuda Power Holdings BV, and Sojitz Global Investment BV which was established on December 05, 2016 as a Special Purpose Company in running, controlling, and managing the assets of Jawa-1 Power Plant business activities, which functions as the largest gas-fired power plant with CCGT technology in Southeast Asia. The company runs its business professionally by upholding the Principles of Effective and Efficient Corporate Governance to provide sustainable added value to Indonesia through a stable electricity supply.

Currently, PT Jawa Satu Power is again opening the latest job vacancies in November 2024 for a number of positions needed. Instrumentation & Control Technician
Placement: Cilamaya, Karawang Regency

Job Requirements:
  • Have a minimum of a Diploma 3 degree in Instrumentation, Physics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in power plant maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of power plant and gas facility operations and maintenance practices.
  • Skills in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues using technical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with computerized control systems and their maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality programs.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical documents, including Control & Instrumentation drawings and P&IDs.
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Ability to communicate (written and oral) effectively in English.
  • Strong knowledge with calibration and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic and motorized actuators/valves.
  • Excellent expertise for calibration and maintenance of sensing and transmitting elements.
  • Familiar and proficient in troubleshooting control systems using SIEMENS S7 PLC series and Allend Bradley ControlLogix 5000 family is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software on GE MKVIe control systems especially for steam turbines and 5,6 and 9 frame gas turbines is preferred.
  • Familiar and understand how to use MAXIMO CMMS software.
